I spend a little time in his dual-language school each week, as much to share the love of reading as to show there are people in our community who care about him and his family.
The photo is only a few of this quarter’s reading. How did you start your reading year?
I don’t like to talk about my pain. Physical pain.
Some good book choices and some not-so-good. Waiting for the holidays and new books under the tree!
She is only 5 years old. Her tiny brown fingers were fidgety as she said “My daddy got arrested. He’s in Guatemala.”
I’ve read a lot of great books this quarter; the blog photo does not do the list justice. Reader friends, I’m always open to suggestions, too.
The coffee, and especially the kindness, brightened my morning and my time in that waiting room.
How is it already July? I’ve had a lot going on (daughter’s wedding among other things) but I still managed to read some great books. See if any of these might appeal to you.
Indeed, we were going to the principal’s office! It wasn’t the first time, and it won’t be the last. This school and this principal are special.
